BIG THANKS to Charles and his team at TECO for assisting me in applying the emergency entry document. My travel was unplanned and unforeseen. I had learned from Taiwan Ministry of Foreign Affairs that I can apply for the emergency documents via Vancouver TECO. Thus, I had reached out to TECO for help; they had arranged an appointment for me the next day due to my urgency. After submitting my paperwork, Charles had given me the entry documents the day after. I sincerely appreciate the fast help and the understanding from the team to provide me all the help and comfort during this difficult time!

This is where you get your Taiwanese documents and information. If you didn’t fill in all the forms or missing forms they can provide. It is up to you to make sure all the documentations are in order (and they’ll accuse you of not reading properly if you get anything wrong). And if you have to pay for anything it’s CASH ONLY. Unfortunately where else are you going to go get your Taiwanese’s documents?

Love the service here and the staff are kind but be careful to check their time receiving the application document. I remember they close at 17h but they only received the application form by “15:30”! Important! Important! Important! So you won’t come here too late for nothing.

Went to get my license translated, went to get my forms because ICBC stated that they will give all the information and have everything I need to do the transition for BC license. Only to go to ICBC and have them tell me I'm missing a form from Taipei office. Taipei office did not stop me to tell me that I NEED the other form and I ended up only having 3/4 on the checklist. Instead let me pay and tell me nothing. When I called to tell them that ICBC said a form was missing, they told me it was up to me to check the website. But I asked them when I was there is that everything I needed from them since it's a hassle to come to Vancouver but since they were the ONLY place I can get it done as part of the process I trusted everything was complete. Because there was no way of me actually contacting the Taiwan Vehicle Registration in Taiwan (not everyone knows someone in Taiwan who can help/or can just call international and speak fluent mandarin) i wish they had told me that before I paid my money. Wasted my time and money only to start all over again to do my L test and wait a year again.
