Excellent service! Mark from passport section has really exceeded my expectations. He is very dedicated to his job. He was giving a very clear,concise,prompt response, and keeps me updated me with the status of my passport extension.

I was there August 11, 2020, appointment was booked online. They are well-organized. At exactly 10 am, there is a person that directs the people to line up, checks if you have all the necessary papers and hands out numbers. The staff are courteous and well-mannered and they explain very carefully what you need to do. As long as you have the papers and all the requirements prepared, you should have no problem and the process should be quick and easy. If the online instructions are not clear or if you have other questions, don't hesitate to call their number and the person answering will explain everything fully to you. I would have given them 5 stars but for years now they haven't updated their payment system. It always has to be cash or cashier's checks. Please, it's already 2020, not a lot of people carry cash anymore since we can always use a debit card , credit card or pay by tapping our phone. Another thing, which maybe they can apply when the pandemic is over, is to give the applicant a choice whether to come back the next business day to retrieve their papers or use self-addressed Canada Express Post, whichever is more convenient to the applicant.

Outreach Program during the summer is very convenient for people living outside Metro Toronto area. .Consular staff helpful in processing passport application.Please continue with the program . There's one thing I wish the consulate would be more helpful and knowledgeable Re: securing SRRV for foreign partners/spouses/ foreigners .

October 16 - This is the first time I visited philippine consulate for personal reasons and this is the worse experienced ever! The lady behind counter number 3 was very rude. Almost all of them were unprofessional and unhelpful. I talked to the lady behind counter number 3, and she asked for 6 photo copies of my passport which I didn't have. Therefore, I asked her how many copies I needed to give to to her, and went out and looked for a store in which I could meet her requirements. When I came back I proceeded to continue my business and the lady was no longer there, but rather a guy. The guy asked for 10 passport photos copies when the lady only asked for 6! I am enraged that I was given the wrong information and had to leave once again to meet the new requirements. It would've been much easier if they gave people the right information to begin with.

My girlfriend went to this Philippine Consulate a few weeks ago to renew her passport and everything went really well. She was finished with the entire process very quickly. Honestly, I was quite impressed. I think they do a fantastic job here. The passport was then sent to her exceptionally fast. I have never seen such a quick turnaround for a passport renewal. The employees all seem to be doing the best they can while still being extremely polite and respectful. I don't understand all the mean comments and low ratings that people are leaving for this location. The employees here are simply doing their job to the best of their ability. People just need to be patient and understanding and make sure they come prepared with the correct documents.
