El Cortez

First off the tacos from El Cortez are absolutely to die for. The food is delicious and feels like authentic cuisine. The drinks are a good quality but not overpriced. The atmosphere is perfect for any night out with friends, date night, or for happy hour. It feels clean and well kept, and they've adapted well to Covid regulations as well. The staff is absolutely delightful, and the bartenders are definitely memorable for their awesome service! Will continue returning :)!

Really great chicken tacos. They let me take the cilantro out which is nice cause sometimes that's not an option. They also didn't kick us out when we realized it was closing time. Our server was also really attentive.

We wanted to try something other than the same old wing night so came here for a taco Tuesday and were not disappointed. The tacos with the brisket were amazing and prices are all fair. Took off one star only because the powers that be only scheduled one girl for the entire floor. We will definitely be going back soon 👍

It would be appreciated if the servers specified how many tacos per order. We ordered 8 tacos, but 16 came out. We we're then told it's 2 per order... we only wanted 8. They didn't offer to take it off our bill, and didn't apologize... we got to take them home but leftovers just get thrown out around here. Apparently they are changing their menu now so just make sure to specify what you actually ordered. I wasn't expecting that, at all.

El Cortez has always been a great spot with great for and drinks. During COVID, it still is. They have appropriate distancing and safety protocols in place to maintain a safe yet surprisingly "normal" experience. Their cocktails are amazing, and I love their cauliflower!
