RONA Maglio Building Centre - Trail

Bought one bag of concrete mix. Went across the the street to the warehouse to get it. Worker opens the gate and asks if I want to get it. Honestly I obliged at the time, and I ask him which bag it is. He walks me pass the gated section to where the bag is and I lift it up and throw it into the back of my car. I realized once I got home that I threw out my back and I ended up being in pain for over a month! I guess I'm not as young as I use to be. The fact this worker was so lazy and all he did was open a gate then tell me a older citizen to get the bag is bad service. Considered calling to complain at the time when I was still in pain. I also considered speaking to a lawyer if I continued to have back pain. After a month my back got better, so here I am now leaving a review. These workers are covered by WorksafeBC, I as a customer am not.

Staff is always helpful but know when to leave you alone. Prices are decent, as is the lumber. No complaints from this guy!

Just had some new flooring put in our hallway,bathroom and kitchen,was very pleased with the work done by Kyle and assistant,Sherry was also very helpful and pleasant to work with. Thank you.

Horrible customer service. They also refuse to do returns from other Rona stores. Everything is extremely overpriced by almost double. Tried to find a simple 1" galvanized flange and they charge $8! Where homedepot charges under $5. Talk about taking advantage of being in a small town. I rather drive to kelowna to have more options, cheaper prices and better customer service.

I have dealt with store for over 15 years as a general contractor and found certain staff are great while others should look for a different job. I and others have been left standing watching staff do anything but serve people thus costing me money when I have 2 sttaff waiting to be served and if thats not frustrating the same staff go to the yard to get served and there isnt enouph staff or any on site to load your material. Many of the good staff have left and gone to Home Hardware because of management conflict .I have been dealing with Tim and his awesome staff for 3 years now and find them so freindly and knowledgable ....The owners need to take a hard look at what is going on with this store...and make some big changes, but on a positive note there is plenty of parking most of the time.
