They didn't take my application to visit Spain, only essential workers can apply for a visa. Very disappointed :( they asked me to send an email asking for a visa but to make sure that no visas will be given before March 2021 and also it depends on the situations of the Covid.
I emailed them and today I got their below reply:
« Due to the restrictions imposed by the Schenghen States toward residents of Canada, for this reason at this point we are not processing short term visas.« :(
Best service I had with consulates in general. The visa I applied for has been issued quickly and they were very helpful. The lady that helped me was super kind. Thank you! :)
I think the same lady that a lot of people here is mentioning has helped us as well. She was so kind, patient and professional. she tried to help us in every way she could. She was making an pleasant atmosphere for the consulate. If someone is talking over the counter and smiling, I could guess that she is there , without even seeing her face. Thank you so much for your help.
The best service we could have in all Spanish governmental authorities ... Iñaki and Yolanda are super helpful and patient with us. They give accurate information!

First time I went, they were quite kind and helpful. They cared about my questions and the woman at the counter was super nice! The wait wasn't too long - it took me about 20 - 30ish minutes to get to the counter, which is understandable since people have a lot of questions and concerns directed at them.
