Canadian Tire

I only gave 1 star because I had to put something to start this review. 0 stars is more appropriate. We are not from Kamloops and our trucks brake line broke. We went to Canadian Tire on 8th and was met with friendly service and seemed like a small town great atmosphere. Things changed quickly that we are now driving back home, in a rental car, trailer at the campground parked off to side and no truck. We were promised our truck by the days end Sunday (dropped off Saturday afternoon). Get a couple of update calls saying 2:00-2:30 then a call at 3 on how it is progressing and we would still have it by days end. 5:00 pm we are in the parking lot and see everyone leaving. Our phone then rings telling us sorry it isn't done and we are closed tomorrow so Tuesday it will be ready. My wife and I work 3 hours away Tuesday morning and we have no place to stay, which they knew because we told them it was important it be done so we could get home. There was no apology when I said we had no place to go, and would have to get a hotel room. Plus we needed to be home for work on Tuesday. All she said was oh well. I said, not even a sorry? You are showing no remorse! Silence. This by far is the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I am now heading home so my wife can get to work Tuesday - due to her work she cannot just miss a day. I have left my vehicle at Canadian Tire and my trailer at the campground. Extra 2 day car rental, gas to drive back to Chilliwack, I will be missing work Tuesday to drive back to Kamloops to hopefully pick up truck and trailer. I am so disappointed with how I was treated and I did nothing wrong. No remorse, not a care what this has cost me on my end, money, time and stress. It is somewhere I will be telling people not to go to for any service and hopefully no one else has to experience what I did.

Good place has pretty much everything you need . Scored a good deal on floor jack so that m happy.

I'm very disappointed in the customer service at the tire shop at this location. We booked in our vehicle for a tire change, and were told the service would take an hour. After an hour, my husband called and we were assured that we would receive a call as soon as the service was done. Another 45 minutes passed and my husband called back again, only to receive an automated message that the tire shop was closed for the day. No one had called us, and if we did not live within a few minutes walking distance our car would have been locked up in their garage over night. When my husband arrived the work had long since been completed, but no one called him to say it was done. If another woman had not been there dealing with the same issue, the tire shop would have been locked and we would have had no idea that the work was done or anything. I understand they were busy today, but a phone call would have taken a minute and would have helped by clearing out their garage. We were lucky this time, but this is very disappointing and very, very poor service.

It's Canadian Tire! Do yourself a favor and get a triangle master card. The amount of money I get every year is awesome! I fill up at the Canadian Tire gas station and the money adds up fast. Well worth it!

Went in for a simple job. Get a key cut. Key was cut in minutes and only cost 5 bucks. Good experience.
