One staffer very helpful but others and cashier were bored and not interested.

UPDATE: Don’t waste your time with Canadian Tire “repair shop”. Go to Franco’s Mechanic.. they are honest, reasonably priced, and they even wash your car for you :) Canadian Tire Review: Auto Shop is terrible. I should have listened to all the other bad reviews. Booked an appointment and I arrived on time. They tried to charge me $153 for a diagnostic when I already had the code and the reading of what was wrong with my vehicle. I asked them to take a look see if the part needed to be cleaned or replaced. I would have been more than happy to pay hourly fee for them to do this. When asked why they are charging me for a diagnostic fee the girl that was helping me couldn’t explain so she called over and older man which appeared to be the manager. He was arrogant, rude, and has no place dealing with customers. He raised his voice at me and started belittling me. Which I assume his intimidation works on some clients .. I think he thought that being a girl he could treat me like this. Unfortunately for him my uncle restores many classic cars for a living and I have somewhat of a knowledge in cars. In the end I would have paid the fee but if someone can’t explain something as simple as why you are being charged and is going to raise their voice at you and treat you like garbage? I don’t think they deserve any service. The manager actually told me at one point after not being able to properly explain why I’m being charged to leave and find another mechanic.. which is exactly what I did. Update: Went to Franco’s mechanic in town and they were HONEST, FRIENDLY, and were able to get me in with such short notice. I will never shop at Canadian Tire again and take all my auto repairs to Franco’s

If you want anything done quickly I would avoid the auto center in Aberdeen. When I say anything, I mean it. Order a pair of tires online. Go to pick them up and wait a half hour for them to bring them out. Need to get pay or get a receipt. 20 minute wait. Just don't come here.

I always dread going to this Canadian Tire but unfortunately it’s the closest one to my home, the management and tire centre is always a hassle to deal with. I understand that we are in uncertain times but that is no excuse to be condescending to your customers. I was respectful both situations but was still blamed by a manager and team member. The first time I showed them the tires/wheels that I wanted and he took down the number and said it would be 3-5 business days, ok no biggie. Tried selling me multiple warranties, I didn’t need them. When the tires came in they were the wrong ones, I brought them back and they blamed me. The worker said “even though this is an issue on your behalf and not ours”, when I asked how it was my fault and how can I prevent this from happening again, they wouldn’t give me a reason. I had to wait another 1 week to get my tires/wheels and drive in deep snow with summers on. The second situation I bought a plant and they charged me more than it was so I said okay I’ll run back and grab the tag. There’s only two plants in this section and two tags, I grab the tag under the plant I want and bring it back. They said it’s the wrong tag, I said this was the only one that was under it and they said it was tagged wrong. I’m sorry but this is not my problem, there’s two tags and two plants. The manager didn’t even offer me a discount, I’ve spent over a thousand dollars at this store, is it really that hard to just appreciate your customers and talk to them with a little bit of basic respect? I would give this store zero stars if I could, don’t waste your time at this store if your looking to be treated like a human being.
