I'm a professional violinist and violin teacher and fully endorse and recommend Dimiter Terziev as an outstanding piano teacher. Both of my sons (one child, one young adult) have studied with Dimiter for over a year. Not only does he teach them all the technique, theory and history I think are essential in learning music, he does it in such a caring, supportive and engaging way. My kids are thoroughly enjoying their lessons and are always keen to try the next piece he has assigned them or asked them to choose. We are very fortunate to have a master performer and teacher of this level in our city.

I am very grateful for choosing Dimiter as my piano teacher. His passion for the piano is very contagious! I would recommend him for anyone looking to progress on their piano skills. I am an adult beginner, however I have also been fortunate enough to be able to watch some of his advanced students and was beyond impressed!

I was referred to Dimiter Terziev as a teacher who would be able to give my playing new direction as well as bring it to a higher level. I had been playing only sporadically over the previous 40 years. Since then I have played in several festivals as well as international piano competitions for outstanding amateurs. Dimeter has a very thorough knowledge of the classical era and repertoire....one learns quickly that playing a composition well requires not only technique but an understanding of the music ; it's theoretical basis, it's genre and even knowledge of it's composer. I would recommend Dimiter to any motivated person regardless of their level.

Dimiter is one of the most patient teacher I've ever met. He has taught my children for a long time and they have improved in both technical and theory knowledge. The level of teaching that Dimiter offers is superior to any other program we have tried in Kamloops. I strongly recommend Dimiter as a piano teacher.

I would definitely recommend Dimiter to anyone looking not only to increase their technical skill and expertise at playing piano, but also to develop their understanding and appreciation for music as an art form as well. He is excellent!
