Excellent customer service 2 days after Christmas. They gave me advice and product knowledge on a Christmas bike, which I managed to swap over at East Kilbride store. Staff at Ayr and EK have been excellent.
Had a new battery fitted last week. Only waited a minute before being seen. Dealt with me right away and had the battery fitted as I went for a coffee (20 minutes ) when I went to leave there was some warning lights on my dash. Went back into store and the chap that fitted it came over straight away asked what was wrong and said he would deal with it . 5 minutes later all good . So had a pretty good 1st time experience dealing with Halfords.
The bikes are a little expensive, but you know you're getting the Halfords quality you deserve. When you think about life, why not get a halfords bike. One guy there sucks, get rid of him then your store is good.
I understand that there are restrictions due to covid19, however how are children able to be measured correctly for a cycling helmet, when they are not allowed to try it on and the sales assistants treat everyone as if they have the plague. Even when we went to make payment the assistant, stretched from about 10feet to reach the bar codes and almost the same when holding out the card reader to have the card scanned. Come on Halfords, start treating customers with respect, we were all wearing masks and expecting the normal help and advice, expected from Halfords staff.
