Lovely place
good station
Looked this up and read some of the comments & I completly agree - the man behind the desk is truly a vile little man. He was too busy on his phone and when I approached him to buy a ticket ( Not that I really want to these private companies are complete rip offs) he rolled his eyes and he even asked for ID when I showed him a railcard (That’s never happened before) and threw the tickets at me , I get the trains daily to various places and I’ve never had a real problem with the customer service until today , to top it off he threatened me and demanded I sign the railcard too (which nobody asked me to do in about 4 years of having one) and then seized it back and ran it through the till and then shouted at me and said what train to get back , truly poor service from great western rail or whoever this snool is employed by
The scenery alone around this station is worth the five stars alone,not forgetting to mention as it’s So closely located to the high street with your local shops where you can go for a short walk as you wait on your train.
Always trains on time and cafe really good quality for a station. Serves hot food & drinks as well as cold food and drinks.
