Always like visiting here, loads of bargains if you have a discount card. Everything here for walking, cycling, running, camping... in fact pretty much most outdoor activities. They carry a variety of brands and staff are always happy to help you. Dogs on leads are also welcome.

Sale on currently so some limited ranges. Always shortage of larger sizes for women, but good prices.

Easy online order but no separate area for click and collection. So you have to join the regular queue. Bit of a shambles really. They didn't have one of the items I ordered in stock, despite the order going through. So called and said they'll replace with something better. Both items not cheap but quality doesn't seem great. We shall see though.

Handling the restrictions well. A good store with some bargains and plenty to tempt. Plenty of free parking. Not somewhere I visit regularly but I know what they have so it's a 'on a mission' destination

I had to take back a broken zipped jacket and had to use my Go Outdoors card to verify the transaction. I was then told that I had bought different items than I had. I was shocked as I had only got the card to buy purchases on that day. Instead of the general store manager being concerned that there was a mistake been made on my card and my card had registered a wrongful purchase, the manager, Sarah I believe, , told me that someone had used my card and that I was in the wrong. She refused to take my concern on and argued with me instead of showing any concern for her customers obvious card misuse. Which as it had been just bought when I made that purchase , appeared to me suspicious and I was very concerned as the error was obviously to do with the shop. Basically rather than defuse the issue she escalated it be refusing to take on her customers concerns and began challenging me. The manager had also been less than a meter away from me as she passed me twice in the queue, my partner is extremely vulnerable. I was totally frustrated at her lack of professionalism and lack of concern that something was obviously not right. When I finally got angry with her lack of concern and her blaming me she then tried to humiliate me. A disgraceful show of mismanagement , there needs to be more training of management at the store, as generally I have only had good experiences with staff at the store. I was very shocked and upset with this store managers attitude towards a genuinely concerned customer .
