5 stars for excellent service. I have been impressed by the service provided by all staff, both during the period of choosing a bike and after. Sales and after sale service has been faultless. Almost a year after purchasing my bike, I have had some modifications to the set up made to the bike, free of charge.
Nothing seems to be too much trouble. I took a second bike in for a premium service. I was pleasantly surprised when the service cost a lot less than I was expecting, when the technician informed me that, despite the age of the bike, only a modest service was required.
Based on my experience to date, I would recommend this outlet to anyone wishing to purchase a bike, or have their existing bike serviced.
Seemingly post bikes out (ordered online) without a thorough PDI. Even a child's bike was posted out with the brakes set up the wrong way from the manufacturer. I'm also sick of fixing their bikes that fail as they expect customers to be knowledgeable in carrying out a safety check before riding. On the upside for the customer, they have been covering repair costs when the customer has to visit their local bike shop for the repairs, however be aware, if your bike is a brand your local shop doesn't deal with, they will struggle with obtaining proprietary parts.
Beware when ordering a bike from Rutland Cycling and selecting a delivery option. I ordered a bike from this company and one of the main reasons why was it gave me a delivery option that suited me.
I selected a date.
The day the bike is due no delivery is taking place.
When you call the helpline it states they cannot discuss delivery for items not despatched???
I have been given an estimated delivery of the following day now, although I have taken time out of work to accept delivery today.
I was informed it was an only an estimated delivery given and it says this on the confirmation email. It does not state this when ordering on the website.
Poor form when it is required today as a birthday present.
I will not be ordering again from this company and I suggest any buyer beware because the delivery option given when ordering is a false guarantee of delivery. It should be removed or guaranteed.
Very very disappointed is an understatement.

Wonderfully knowledgeable, helpful and great choice, has the perfect blend of traditional physical stores, coupled with online sales too, can't fault them.
