Our family love smyths toys, we come every month for toys, teddie bears my daughter collects. Great staff at this store very helpful and smiley. Only gave 4 stars due to the fact they have stopped the helium balloons, gutted about that.

Thankyou very much to the manager of Smyths after buying a Xbox Last laugh bundle that was faulty from manufacturers and being replaced without any fuss . Excellent customer services 😀. Happy 9 year old . Thankyou

One of our very few remaining high street toy retailers. :( The shop in Nottingham is great though, always reasonably busy but in a good way. Prices are also very competitive compared to the internet. Don't buy toys from Amazon, support your local shops by visiting Smyths. 👍🏻 We'll be back.

Purchased an Xbox One X which failed after 10 months, was exchanged for a replacement which also failed less than a year later. This time Smyths were unwilling to exchange the item as I no longer had the receipt and referred me to the manufacturer. Furthermore, and more worryingly, upon communications directly with Microsoft, the manufacturer, it turns out the product I was supplied was a US/ Canada region specific one and although it was still in warranty, this warranty is not honoured in the UK and would cost me in excess of £260 to be repaired. Obviously this is not economically viable, therefore I suggest that if you have purchased one of these items from Smyths, check the serial number with Microsoft and ensure you do not have one of these US/ Canada region models as any warranty will not be honoured in the UK. Polite service from Smyths, but a very disappointing outcome.
