Needed to get a new battery for the car. The service I received was quick, friendly and honest. I think the price was very reasonable. Great little shop, strongly recommended. There is a limited amount of parking round the back so also very convenient.

A modest sized, traditional hardware store with a huge range, very helpful and knowledgeable staff and reasonable prices. An extra bonus is a good sized carpark at the back, which considering the parking problem in Hollow Way is a real boon.
Couldn't find replacement cable for leaf blower in Homebase so went to Smith & Low. Had the right cable (pay by metre) and a suitable plug. All at a fraction of the cost the big franchises charge.
Make this your first port of call if you want advice before you purchase. Excellent staff very knowledgeable.
