The store was just as densely laid out as previously and only one till was operational. Although they had what I wanted at a good price I left without purchasing anything because I didn't want to stand in a long queue to pay. I didn't feel safe.
Good selection of sports wear and shoes/trainers at very reasonable prices. Only one person on the checkout left a fair queue so four stars.
Usual sports direct ...have to admit the staff in Staffords store are a lot friendlier than other stores I've been in ...

A friendly greeting at the door, then assisted and advised by a lovely young man. I had very specific requirements and he immediately knew which trainers would be perfect.
Social distancing adhered to and not too long to wait to be served.
No staff working long queue at tills very disappointing
