what can I say about Jim:
Had the pleasure of requiring his services a few times now, a fork service or two, brake bleeds & lever reassembly, bushing replacements etc.
All the work was priced very fairly, and the finished jobs were all completely to a consistently high standard.
Great mechanic but also good to talk about anything from colonial history to conspiracy theories with... which is a plus i guess
Jim knows his bikes and does fantastic work at a reasonable/fair price.
He helped us immensely by making good a bicycle/lemon sold to us second-hand recently. Thanks so much Jim! Highly recommended!

What can I say!
Jim’s knowledge and ability within his field is second to non. A squelching fox float X2 rear shock and a few days before a trip to Windhill really left me with no where to turn other than meticulously search google for not only the big names in the industry when it comes to servicing but also local individuals in the game.
After reading many reviews and having many phone calls with various specialists (yes I’m very particular) Jim felt like the man I would be putting my trust in to get the job done.
So I did and he did not let me down. His turn around time was unbelievable and his customer service was outstanding (which is, as I’m sure anyone reading would agree, is rare in this day and age). Jims knowledge was also no doubt beyond that of any one that actually works at fox directly.
He has such a passion and skill for what he does, his craftsmanship clearly shows in the results within the work he delivers. He has gained a customer for life and I would whole heartedly recommend jim to any one and certainly will do to friends in the community.
A genuine guy and clearly a legend within his field. Thank you again for your time and work Jim.

On day 4 of a bike tour I realised something was up with my rear wheel. Found Jim's Bikes from a google search and he kindly said he would take a look. He diagnosed a complete lack of brake pads (and other technical stuff, something about pistons). Jim took the time to source and collect the new pads, fit them and fully check the bike before sending me on my way (which was good as I still had 100 miles to do). Jim is officially my knight in shining armour.
