I was building a pair of bike wheels for my brothers Christmas present and lost an ENVE internal nipple during the building process. This brought the project to an abrupt stop and I was worried I wouldn't be able to source a replacement part in time for Christmas. After contacting many bike shops no one was willing to help as they deemed my request not worthy of their time due to the small order value. That was until I got in contact with Ben at Sharp Precision Wheels! He replied to me instantly and got a replacement part in the post within hours. I cannot recommend his services enough, a proper LBS that shows genuine care in its customers.

I found Ben on Google and after doing some research on him which suggested him to a very knowledgeable and genuinely honest chap decided to make an inquiry. Ben built up a profile of my needs, physic, age and experience and then put forward several proposals. I have found Ben to be totally honest, very reliable and subsequently a mine of information and help. Would I recommend him? Yes!

I found Sharp Precision Wheels from a Google search while I was looking for a good wheelbuilder in Surrey/Sussex. I needed half-a-dozen wheels looked at and Ben duly obliged, re-dishing, truing and re-rounding old wheels, while also servicing hubs and sourcing hard-to-find spokes (and a free-hub body). Not once did he suggest that I buy new wheels or that breathing new life into old wheels wasn't worth the hassle. He was genuinely helpful and his knowledge about everything pertaining to wheels and his care and attention to detail were impressive. Highly recommend.

I heard Ben talk on Unfound Podcast and visited his website after having dented one too many flimsy factory wheelsets. After chatting about what I needed I ordered a couple of entry level hand built wheels which have since arrived and look and perform great. It's amazing the difference a set of bespoke handbuilt wheels makes. Very happy with service and free and useful advice offered.
