Oscuro Brebaje

Spotted this small place near my Airbnb. It was quaint and literally felt like I was on the roof of someone’s house, equipped with broken typewriters, bikes, and tube TVs. To get to the roof, I had to climb a perilous and unique stairway that was more like a stair-stepper, wherein there were individual alternating steps for each foot. The food was solid and the fresh fruit smoothies were a standout. With that stairway, it was fortuitous that they didn’t serve booze. Recommended for a unique local lunch.

Great vegan burger and vegan tacos. Ordered through DiDi and enjoyed every bite. Guacamole was incredible and the salsa was muy picante the way I like it! If you’re looking for some tasty vegan food try this place.

French toast and chilaquiles made for a decidedly pleasant breakfast on the terrace. The owner speaks English. The only thing that kept me from giving 5 stars are the stairs. While treacherous might be a bit of an overstatement, I wouldn't drink before climbing them. 😁
