El Cuajilote

I believe it's free on Saturday or Sunday cnt remember which day. It is kind of weird to get there. U drive down this cappy gravel road and thru a gate that was closed for us. It looks like u r going the wrong way but eventually u get to the building where u pay to tour the ruins.

Perfect place to be relaxed. It lacks more maintenance to the area

Beautiful place I had an amazing time !!! Highly recommending this impeccable garbage, and you feel a peace and a beautiful silence. My dachshund had a great time.

I was fascinated by this archeological zone, I was surprised by the size of the monuments, and the area itself, everything is very large, it is impressive I loved it full of vegetation in a very nice and humid environment, there are many vipers in the place, you can appreciate the structures very well maintained, what would be missing would be identification cards there is no sign that explains the mounds, the squares and everything architectural, but from there on out it is a magical place to visit it is so beautiful that it seems that one is transported to those times of flowering of culture, it is an immense citadel, it is surprising, there is a question with the road to get there is a totally rural road in which passes between fields and pastures the road is not paved and therefore it is impossible to pass in truck if you are going on an excursion, small cars do go through difficulties with stones and potholes, and it is impossible if it rains, it is the only question that I will limit to your access but still if you do not pass the transport in which it is fenced you must walk like 1 km. It's really not much but it is worth every step.
