Very friendly and considerate host. Helped me out with a dress I couldn't find. Wifi and cold / hot water is for free. The place is very tidy and quiet. There is a closed parking lot for one car only, it's best to make a reservation for it in advance. Though during my 4 nights stay I've never had any problems to find a spot on the street nearby. Location is great, close to the city center and nice cafés like Sukra or El Apapacho. Would recommend!

Excellent service and clean economic rooms!

We have really enjoyed staying at Casa Xunan Kab for several weeks while we explored Merida. It is very close to the Remate of the Paseo de Montejo, with lots of shops, museums, restaurants and "Cocina Economica"s nearby. About four blocks from Parque Santa Ana. The place is clean, bright, cheery and the manager Leticia and the maid Cristina are both very friendly and helpful! There is a shared kitchen upstairs, and a variety of room sizes and prices available. Each room has nice decor, air conditioning, cable TV and Wi-Fi. The air conditioning works well and the Wi-Fi is about as good as anywhere we've been in Mexico. We highly recommend! Note: There is only one secure parking space behind the gate at 50 pesos per day - first come first served!
