Hotel Riu Tequila

We wanted to book 2 weeks in this hotel so we came to the entrance as we passed by. However they refused to let us in to go to the reception in order to talk with them and visit the facilities. They only allowed me to talk by phone to the reception in the guardian cabin ... unbelievable! For a 5 star hotel this is not acceptable. Usually hotels should be thankful to have clients willing to book a room especially in a tough period such as Covid for the hospitality industry. For sure we will never come to this hotel and will go to another TRUE 5 star hotel with good customer service

Best holiday ive ever had the staff were amazing especially Fani or Stefani

Riu has been closed for 6 + months. We came here in evacuation from hurricane as shelter. Its was safe from weather and was as good as could be under the circumstances. It is in need of serious restoration. No air, no TV, rooms were dirty, especially floors. It is what it is and again it was used as a shelter due to a hurricane. In all honesty I would not pay to stay here when the other Riu's are in immaculate condition.

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. Staff work so hard and can’t do enough for you. Rooms were spotless every day. I thought the food was really good for an all inclusive hotel with lots of variety. Loved the steak restaurant we went there twice. Thanks for a great stay, will hopefully be back one day!

We have stayed at this hotel three times so far and cannot fault it. It's very friendly, helpful and the staff are excellent. Cannot fault it it's our favourite place. The new refurbishment is really well done as are the party nights. Well done
