Hotel Florida

We had a terrific experience at Hotel Florida! We were well looked after by the staff and management, the rooms were very clean, the complimentary breakfasts were massive and the service was great, our room was cleaned and stocked each day, and they helped us with a few unexpected needs. They also arranged a cab and despite us showing up late they had made sure the cab waited for us. The locations is also perfect for Oaxaca. It’s a few minutes walk from the Zocalo, and 15-20 minute walk anywhere in the Centro. It’s also right on the main bus routes. Great price for the room and it greatly exceeded our expectations.

Perfectly located in central Oaxaca, with a friendly, helpful host. They also have a cat, Panda, that you *might* be able to touch.

Cozy, clean, low key and the owners are lovely! The location is conveniently located near the markets and a short walk from the old town main drag.

Nased on the nice ratings I went there and asked for the price. It's the 1st time I've seen an owner needing a calculator to determine the rate, 700 pesos for 1 person. Ouch, some 40 U.S.... Oaxaca is going mad. Didn't go further.
