I will admit, I was hesitant to visit La Redonda because it's very popular and right off the main road, so I expected it to be quite commercialized and rather like the local Walmart of wineries. In this regard, I wasn't much off the mark, but my boyfriend wanted to go and, in all honesty, I am really happy we did. We arrived later - around 4pm, and after having been to 4 other wineries already during our winery tour weekend, we really didn't feel a need to do another tour or tasting or visit the restaurant. We just wanted to sit out in the vineyard and relax with some cheese and wine, and it is here that this place delivers. They have two separate buildings - one for food (mainly pizza and a plate of cheeses) and another for ordering wine by the bottle which they will open and cork for you. The line for the wine was a bit chaotic, but the girl who served me was very kind. The food was cash-only but I was able to use my credit card for the wine. We did the margarita pizza and the a cheese and meat plate (which comes in a plastic container), and two bottles of wine - the Redonda carbernet savignon and savignon blanc. And armed with food and wine, we had a magical experience. The pizza was actually quite good and definitely enough for two people to share, especially when paired with the cheese plate. We stayed until sunset and then left before it got too dark out so it would be easier to return home. I think it was perfect - if you visit, visit later, around 4pm, but keep in mind THEY STOP SERVING AT 5:30PM, so get your wine bottles before then. The wines were actually pretty good and in the mid-200 peso range. They had some that were cheaper and some that were more expensive, so we went mid-range and were not disappointed. They charge for classes (50 pesos each) but thankfully we had a car full of glasses from previous tours so we just used our own. Overall, I do highly recommend making this the last stop on your winery tours. We are certainly happy we did and would return again.

This vineyard is amazing. I highly recommend this place instead of Cava Bocanegra or Bodegas de conte. Let me tell you that we went to Bodegas de Conte first, they were charged us for a tour in a train through the Vineyards, with a 2 different types of wine tasting(just the cup) and cheese $450 p/p a total of $1,800 (pesos)because we were a party of 4, so we decide look for another place more affordable for us and we found La Redonda. Monday through Friday the tour is free and on weekend is just $100 p/p. We get there at 1 pm and our tour was scheduled to 4 pm. We decided to walk around the vineyards and eat at the restaurant. We’ve ordered to share: Tapas, chesse, pizza, 2 bottles of wine, 4 coffees and we just paid $1,100 (pesos). We spend lest money, ate and we spend a great time there and definitely I’m coming back.

They need to improve on their customer service

I went there with a few friends for a tour and was not disappointed. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but tried to keep a light side to all the information he provided us. We finished our tour with a wine tasting & a good meal.
