Riu Dunamar

This place is awesome. Restaurants weren't bad unless you have picky eaters. Room service was great! Lots of amenities for guest! Loved the all inclusive with the access to everything of the resort! Bell hops can get you rides or you can schedule excursions with the hotel. Great view of the ocean from our room. We didn't have to to the evening show, we could sit on our balcony and listen! Overall definitely a family resort🙂

My kiddos and i stayed here for 5 nights. It was just amazing!! The hotel is beautiful the food is grate the food and drinks are amazing. There’s not one thing I didn’t like. The personal are so kind and welcoming. The beach and the hotel are also very clean. Am so grateful we got a chance to go. Am looking forward to go back!🙏

I was a little nervous reading previous reviews as our trip got closer, but Riu Dunamar was exactly what you'd expect with an all-inclusive resort. They had a great staff, pool drink service, a great entertainment team (both for pool activities & night time) & good food. The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner, there is a snack bar at the pool for lunch (hot dogs, burgers, fries, chips, guac). There are 4 restaurants to dine at for dinner if you don't want to go to the buffet, they are first come first serve, no reservation needed & no limit to how many times you can go per nights of your stay. The food is good, not great. I know we don't travel to an all-inclusive for 5 star food, but it was still really good. The beach is not a far walk from the hotel & there are plenty of chairs there too. I think this hotel is not at full capacity, we never had an issue in our group of 6 getting chairs at the pool next to one another. The rooms are super spacious & I believe every room has a balcony. If I had to be critical, the only downsides I can think of is that this hotel is located at the very end of the "strip" (not in the hotel zone, about 40 min from airport) & there is really only a quarter mile you can walk on the beach before you're not on the resort anymore. Also, there wasn't much food available after 10pm, only the sports bar which has hot dogs, burgers and sandwiches that you heat up in a microwave. So if you need late night food, consider bringing a bunch of snacks!

It’s a great place overall! The one thing I didn’t like about it is the lunch buffet food wasn’t the best and some other foods during dinner weren’t either. The best part about it was the amount of sargassum on the beach. There was nearly non at all! The staff were very nice and thoughtful. I would recommend this to a friend if they like to walk a lot to get to their destination and don’t like seaweed... for me 4 stars

Familiar place to spend a good time. They don't have room service. They need also yo have more and better options to eat during the night. The drinks also could be so much better but is not bad. The pools and water park are cool. Nice familiar hotel
