Panama Jack Resorts Cancun - All Inclusive Resort

Panama Jack Resort is a wonderful place to spend your time in Cancun! It's an all-inclusive resort that's perfect for families or couples wanting to relax and have fun. The food, service, facilities and activities were all wonderful. It was clean. The beach was beautiful. Some of my favorite aspects are the nightly activities that had. From karaoke night to a great talent show, there was something to look forward to every night. The staff made the entire stay awesome.

Got a great deal and spent 10 days in total at the hotel! 10 of the best days for sure. The staff did a great job keeping everything clean with the pandemic. The beach location is excellent and you can just sit there for days looking out at the clearest of blues in the water. Also, the staff were very helpful. Particularly, Hector, Fatima, and Roberto at the coffee shop and Blanca at the bakery! You can tell the people who work here are very respectful and hard working. Definitely recommend coming.

I want to love this hotel, and we had great experience, BUT they give you a “ coupons” that not a coupons . After the service they tell you it’s not the dish it’s not the service!!!! . It’s just the way to make more money. Our coupon clearly said lobster tail, and we have a coupon for lobster tail (no other restrictions on the coupon) At the restaurant they told us it’s not that lobster tail that covered, but some other one.... really ?!?! We are not stupid ! We can read !!! There is no fine print ! We spoke with restaurant manager and the main manager they both where not able to explain clearly why the coupon not applied. The main manager David was rude and not trying to help at all. He was trying to argue with my husband, when he was trying to explain that the coupon doesn’t say nothing but the lobster dish $20 off. Main manager went into the info about their margins and that they will never give more than 50% off to their customers and all the dirty hotel business. Come on!!! I am a customer, I don’t what to know about your margins and how you will never give your customers such a big discount. So watch out!!! Do not order anything from the coupon until you verify with manager and main hotel manager because servers don’t know much. I am so glad to transfer to Hard Rock hotel and hoping that they will be better in service and not ruin my already expansive vacation. Very poor manager customer service!!!!

The resort views are nothing special, just ok. The bathrooms are actually old and disgusting. The front desk customer service line is always very long and they're pretty slow. Service at coffee shop is pretty slow too. Gift shop prices are ridiculously high... Ridiculously! So don't waste your money there. The staff is for the most part nice and friendly, but some staff are not very nice which is very important for a resort in Mexico. On the positive side, the food is pretty good. Very good tacos served by poolside. But dinner options are limited to 3 restaurants with the Mexican one being not good at all. Overall, the ratings on this resort should be about 3.9 honestly. I've stayed at plenty of Cancun resorts so i can really compare!

Posted times online for restaurants and VIP lounge were inaccurate. No posted times anywhere on the resort so you never knew when something was opening or closing. Could not order a bloody Mary, mimosas, or any alcoholic drink before 11AM (Normally not an issue, but I'm on vacation with an all inclusive VIP package. I should be able to at least get a bloody or mimosa). VIP booze was no where EXCEPT the VIP lounge. Rooms were not what the pictures make it seem. The shower goes from scalding hot, to warm, to OFF (no water running), and back to scalding. Beverage service for the rooms mini bar was only restocked two or three times during my 7 day stay, despite being told it would be filled every day. All that said, the staff was great and the food was pretty good. The Italian restaurant was by far the best.
