This is a small venue but there are a few in the hotel zone in Cancun. Of those few, this is by far the biggest. Actually a really awesome spread of what used to be quite an important village. Worth coming to. There is a small park fee but it is well worth it. Amazing structures and a whole bunch of iguanas. Lots of fun. Definitely stop by for 30min or so.

I wish I could give this place a higher star rating. But I was told by the gentleman at the door that due to this place has closed because they went bankrupt. The gentleman did let me go inside and it's climb up top of the small Pyramid inside the main foyer, from there I could see the main archaeological Zone but I could not go in any further

It’s mid February 2021 and El Rey is closed due to covid. Very sad and trashed

Relatively cheap, foreigner tax as there is in most of Mexico but it’s not a huge difference. Neat sights to see and learn the history of
