This is THE most beautiful, peaceful and magical place in Tulum! I’m so grateful to have found this mystical portal of light, healing, elevation and peace. My boyfriend and I did a private sound ceremony and temezcal ceremony and it was life-changing for both of us. The entire staff is so wonderful, The space is amazing, and our experiences were beyond powerful. We are already planning our next trip to Tulum around coming back to Mayur to stay on the property and embrace more of what they offer. Thank you for making our trip to Tulum so special 🙏🏼💗🙏🏼

This is has to be one of the best hidden gems in Tulum. A great place to get away and experience great authentic Indian cuisine. Also can't wait to do the Temazcal ceremony. Thank you Raj and your staff for the great experience.

We stayed 9 days, Sat through Sun. Not sure how this got all of these 5 star reviews. Perhaps a lot of people who have never stayed in hotels before or just friends of the owner, who knows, but they're completely inaccurate. There is/are no - **Masks**. The staff does not wear masks. Any of them. So after a few days, we stopped wearing them around them too because it was so uncomfortable for us socially, it made us feel awkward. --Update: The owner's comment on my review here is false. They follow no Covid precautions. He's lying. --Update: The owner / restaurant has no posted pricing about any custom food, like a bowl of oatmeal, or a $4 cup of tea from a tea bag (where they don't give you a kettle to make your own, despite us asking. "Our two kettles broke, we'll get you one tomorrow", then tomorrow, then tomorrow, then tomorrow. No kettle given). - 2nd key (if you lose the key, no one can enter) - hair dryer - safe / lockbox - hangers - kettle for hot water - shower hot water after 5 minutes (in our room it was 2.5 minutes (2min 37s)) - reception. You WhatsApp the owner and tell the chef about maintenance problems There is/was - nice staff - a drone recording footage of this ‘healing sanctuary’ with lounge music playing for a marketing video they filmed for two days 🤮 - Potoo (owl on property), Motmot, parrots, toucans - excellent Indian food. Tastes like a cross between home cooked and restaurant Indian. Baresh is awesome - kundalini yoga. Very weird and very great. It’s not stretching... - terrible road. Make sure your car doesn’t suck. Or that you don’t care if it sucks more later. - reactive service. Nothing is proactive here. Hot shower water, drinking water, hot water, toilet paper, coffee machine... plan on having to ask the owner for everything. He comes through 80% of the time - Covid test in the hotel room upon request. This was a huge score. Thanks Raj - Raj the owner means well, but is missing a touch of being client oriented. Perhaps because the budget is low at the moment and this so is staff because only one other couple is here out of ~8-10 units available. - Only mostly just two of us here. With all the units full, it wouldn’t be so quiet here. It’s a bit cramped - two dogs barking 8-10x/day - two nice cats, though shy - pretty plants - the guards are great. Ignacio, Andrés, and Ramón (?). So is the cleaning person. Also- Owner asked us to join yoga that was starting just in front of us and there was no one else there. Just to join. Later charged us $50 each with no prior mention of a cost. We were then charged $205 for a few meals we had there. A bowl of oatmeal is $12.50. This isn't a big deal, but if you go down the road 5 minutes, you can have a plate of fruit, two drinks (non-alcoholic), and two entrees for $20. 2 bowls of oatmeal at that hotel are $25. What gives? It's Mexico, not the Four Seasons NYC. We then asked for a discount because we had the bad experience with hot water (of which they didn't offer. Sure, maybe I'm being 'first world problems-ish', but it was advertised as such and he flies in yoga people from San Diego...) and we agreed on a ~45% discount on the food. It’s much more quiet than anything in Tulum though

This place is beyond magical! Raj and his staff over exceeded my expectations! This is the perfect place for your Tulum getaway. The villa was not only very private, but a great taste of luxury. The chef cooked amazing food and our party of 5 girls felt very safe and well taking care of. I can’t wait to come back.
