Way too expensive for what it offers. Service is rude. We do speak some basic Spanish but they did not seem to understand us, and their English is very limited so we had a hard time understanding each other. They ask us to pay even before we see the room or the laguna. The room is clean but very small. The balconies on the second floor are so small that you can’t sit two persons around the table. Anyway, you don’t really want to relax on the balcony since there is another hotel in construction (noise start at 8am) a few meter away. You don’t have access to a refrigerator, so forget the cold beer near the laguna (no place to buy one near by either). The water machine upstairs doesn’t give you cold water which would have been nice since there is no fridg. There is no coffee machine (only instant coffee) so don’t even think about a good coffee in the morning, even if you bring your own. The breakfast is not included and it is far from any restaurant. The access to the laguna is hidden behind a closed unidentified door. They didn’t even bother with showing us the right door. This is absolutely not adapted for a family. We found better and less expensive near the centre of the town. The only positive thing was the fast wifi so we were able to shop for another hotel.

Small, cozy hotel with lagoon access at a short walking distance. No pool, beautiful dogs. Very kind people and good service.

Quiet and clean hotel close to the water. Great to enjoy the laguna, a bit away from the center of the town.

Property was nice but too far from center and has crocks near boating dock in evening. Staff doesnt communicate well. Left us without hotel room to stay. We Went to an excursion thru hotel and when i arrived they had all my belongings packed up in my suitcase ready to go. How Dare them... They went thru all my personal belongings and I was furious. I told the younger girl working I spoke with manager (her mom) about staying another night which she said was available. But insisted ALL rooms where booked and left us room less looking for alternative. Hence the BAD REVIEW (ps. Found another hotel near 1 minute from center at half the price)

In love with this hotel. My boyfriend and I really wanted to relax while at the lagoon, and it's the perfect place. The rooms are exquisite. Vegetation surrounds the property and toucans are sometimes in the nearby trees!! It's a short walk to their lake access which is where we spent much of our time. Strong wifi at the hotel and the family that runs it was so welcoming and willing to help with anything we needed. I'd love to move in here for forever! A plus in my book is that they care about the environment ! The beautiful pieces of wood that decorate the property were created by trees that have fallen in storms, etc instead of cutting down trees and they share with guests about how to take care of the lagoon while visiting.
