Hotel Castillo Santa Cecilia

We actually loved it....because of its history and the fact that feels like true medieval castle.....staff is incredible....we really enjoyed it......there are details regarding the room that needs to be fixed but it was generally a great stay.....

It’s a beautiful place to go and take photos. Since I didn’t stay there for the night, I couldn’t tell how the rooms are.

my 2nd visit was a few days ago for 4th of july weekend. i was so excited staying in a castle again when we came back from our tour to take a shower there was no hot water i found a roach in the shower, found a bed bug had to change rooms. while inspectioning the rooms to see if it was ok one was not clean had roaches, the other one was occupied accidentally went in on someone sleeping not our fault they had giving us the wrong room. then finaly a clean room the ac controller didn't work so again had to ask for another one . still slept preoccupied hopefully it didn't have bed bugs too even though we checked good.

Great location awesome to say we stayed in a castle but it could use a little updating. The beds were very hard! We had a towel that was COVERED in little hairs like someone cut their hair on the towel and left it! We had an awesome huge patio with a great view. Overall it was worth the money and stay for a night!

I really enjoyed my staying in this castle. Beautiful architecture, friendly staff. I have a doubt about water in swimming pool (was not exactly transparent) bu the rest was amazing.
