Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal

Staying at the Bahia Principe Akumal overall was great. The resort is well maintained and big, and we also had access to another hotel. Food in general was good. Breakfasts could have been improved little bit, and we expected to have more fruits at the buffet and beach bar. Quality of the beverages is poor, I could not even drink any of the cocktails. Beverages at the sport bar only were a little bit better. Also, the access to the sea was not what we were expecting since it had a lot of stones and reefs, and it was a little hard to go to swim in the sea if you did not had some special shoes. Everything else was really great, and the service that staff provided was amazing. They were always there for us. The animation team (Gigi, Valentino, Eduardo, Stephanie, and others) was awesome trying to involve us into different activities and making our staying more fun and unique. If we had any questions, they were trying to answer them and help if needed. Looking forward to be back!

I have nothing but amazing things to say about Bahia principe luxury Akumal!!! From the moment we got there we enjoyed every second of our stay. The staff is so extremely nice and attentive. The hotel itself is beautiful and they offer so much activity for you throughout the week. It’s perfect for all ages but we extremely liked the adults only section. So if you are traveling without kids make sure to upgrade to that area since the pool and rooms itself are so perfect and secluded. The food was also amazing all throughout the day. We were seriously so sad to leave and we can’t thank the staff enough for making us feel so special during my birthday trip!!! They surprised us with champagne and a nice warm bath with rose petals on my actual birthday!!! I couldn’t believe how sweet that was. We will definitely be back since there is still so much stuff left to do that we weren’t able to do and we would just love to spend more time at this hotel in all of their pools and the beach as well. Check them out you won’t regret it!!

Bahia Principe Akumal was amazing. I left and I miss the already. They have lots of activities so you will never be bored. Their shows are fantastic.I want to mention few employees I meet who made my stay even better, Valentino and Gina great personality and fun to be around with. Also Delman and Eduardo where great entertainment around the pool areas. Parents don’t forget to visit the Kids Club, Miss Leo-Leo and Jackie will make sure your kids have the best time ever, well all my kids love them. Thanks Bahia Principe Akumal I will definitely come back!!!

First of all let me say that since cruising is not an option right now, all inclusive resorts are the way to go and could possibly have changed my way of vacationing!!!!! My first major shout out is to Valentino and Gigi, you guys are fantastic!! Pretty much the minute we arrived we were greeted by Valentino who immediately made us feel special, welcomed, and remembered our names!! Gigi was so quick to extend an invitation to each daily fun activity as well as Alejandro, Victor, and Jaqueline and Valentino!! Each of these individuals made our stay so memorable. This resort is fortunate to have these ladies and gentlemen as part of their entertainment staff!! Next up is Jesus, one of our waiter’s at the sports bar, he was great, very attentive and friendly. Overall I would say that our stay was absolutely wonderful!! This has a lot to do with the people who make this resort work and that includes everyone involved!! I would recommend Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal resort 10 times over to anyone looking for a fun filled, relaxed, all-inclusive vacations. You guys rock!! Thank you for a great experience!!

Just got out of the Bahia Principe Luxury Akumal it is amazing. The beach is incredible. The sea is really enjoyable and it's possible to do snorkeling in it. The adults part is really cool and quiet. The families part are also really great, and there are more fish in those areas. Loved kayaking on the sea. The rooms are pretty cozy. All the stuff are nice and fun to talk to and serve you well, make sure to tip though they will appreciate that. The entertainment team are exceptional, they go out of their way to help you and give you the positive vibes, Javier in especial was really sweet. The a la carte restaurants are really good. But the food on the buffet it's not the best but is good. Have nothing to complain other than the food. Me and my family miss the hotel already. It was an amazing experience we hope to comeback soon.
