Hard Rock Hotel Cancun

What a wonderful all inclusive experience being our first time in Cancun & at the hard rock hotel! The zen restaurant was our #1 spot to go to for breakfast, we loved the service there and food was wonderful! Super friendly staff all throughout the resort is what made it very welcoming! They did have a romantic dinner which ended up in a engagement for me which I had no idea was coming! The staff was super helpful planning and making it turned out perfect! We did go to the bar in the hotel lobby our first night Ivan the server took care of us and is the reason why we want to come back with our friends. Ivan was such a wonderful server and made sure we always had another full drink in our hands before we even had the time to ask for another one. Overall 10/10 recommend staying here next time you come visit!

Hotel room was clean, food was good. Some staff was very friendly, others were not. Had multiple times when I would be sent in circles to get answers to questions, like where to find a water bottle... While each room has a hot tub you can use, there are no public hot tubs available unless you’re a club member. This was crazy to us! So our group couldn’t hot tub all together which was a bummer. The pools were also super cold. For “all inclusive” it felt like there was a fair amount of seemingly standard things you had to pay for. We had a fun and comfortable week, but will probably try a different resort next time!

(Review at reopening) Average rooms, the jacuzzi is nice but it’s somewhat uncomfortable and not very safe (and I’m someone in my late 20s). The restaurant food was very good overall, some dishes were not that good but in general it was tasty and well prepared. Drinks are average but there’s a great variety of options. For the cost I expected the facilities to be more amenable and for more options. All personnel were extremely helpful and friendly.

Terrible company to deal with. They’re crooks. They tell you they will refund your money and don’t follow through. Do not waste your money at this place. See the email below from June when they said the refund was on it’s way...ya right...they lied...again. This was an $11,000 trip that we never got to take and were just robbed of our money by the hard rock Cancun. As of February 1, 2021 no response from these crooks. Go somewhere else with your hard earned money. These guys will just steal it.

I am currently at this place and I am living the worst holidays of my life . After reading so many wonderful reviews and researching about this hotel I decided to purchase a package thru Costco travel. I’m been to countless all inclusive hotels in Latin America. I’ve been to the best hotels in Cuba and the Caribbean. I know the all inclusive hotel concept really well and if you read me, trust my review . Don’t ever come to this place. I am not going to go more deep into details because I am escalating this matter to higher instances, but I thought that if you were planing to come to Cancun you deserve to know this Not the right place to come.
