Hotel Gran Real Yucatán

Located a block from the historic center and yet quiet an beautifully appointed. Staff was charming and accommodating. Even to an American knowing only 12 words of Spanish. Perfectly clean.

Good place. We were there in 2013 and remember it as a nice quaint hotel unlike the horrible new structures today that have totally destroyed Merida's uniqueness and charm.

Amazing service and great price. Don Sergio at the bar/restaurant and Don Gaspar at the front desk are the bomb. They and the rest of the staff made us feel at home and went above and beyond to take care of us. Highly recommend it.

This hotel was perfect for me. The staff was incredibly friendly and hepful. Ulisis especially helped me with tours and anything else I needed. The atmosphere is really nice with the garden and pool. My room was clean and nice. It was a great location for being able to get out and walk around the town central.

Overall good hotel for 1-2 nights stay. Breakfast was tasty but did not really include much healthy foods. Dinner service is better and cheaper in the small restaurants around. Hotel is clean and well kept. Friendly staff and nice swimmingpool. Would go back.
