Hotel Hacienda Los Laureles Spa

Excellent Hotel. This place combines authentic mexican athmosphere with intenational standard. The rooms are very nice and comfortable and the restaurant serves a pleasant mix of mexican and international food. The swimming pool is very good. But best of all is the staff. Literally everyone is doing their very best to make the stay as pleasant as possible, without being intrusive. We receined a free supply of water in our rooms and were provided with hats when we went on an excursion. In my judgement this hotel would be ranked among the top 5% in any european capital.

We had a wonderful time. The food, services, beautiful grounds and lovely rooms were perfect. The spa offers many services. I enjoyed a great facial and a super massage. The pool is warm and surrounded by the most lovely flowers with humming birds everywhere, I would highly recommended this hotel to anyone visiting the amazing historic city of Oaxaca. The taxi ride into the central city is approximately 10 miniues away and costs 60 pesos and the staff were so helpful in sorting out day trips into town. So reasonable. When my husband was feeling poorly due to a change in our normal diet, the staff cooked him special food and he was better in a day. Our stay was such a treat from beginning to end. Thanks!!
