Hotel Misión de los Ángeles

Service was very good. We stayed 3 nights. Had the pool to ourselves. It is an older property and shows. However,the price and location is wonderful. The Sunday buffet is highly recommended.

The hotel is currently going through some updates. The room we stayed in was older, although the beds were super comfy, and it was immaculately cleaned. The pool bar employee was gone on vacation during my trip. The hotel was very accommodating in sending drinks and food to the pool for us. The food was great at the restaurant. And the service was spectacular. Excellent bartenders and wait staff. Definitely would stay again.

Nice place to stay, peaceful. The pool could be bigger and deeper.

Overall this place is very nice. The staff for the most part is great and very helpful and very nice. The hotel grounds are lush and the pool area is beautiful and very relaxing. I could see myself staying here again. I would love to give this place 5 stars, but for one reason I can not. That reason is, the front desk staff is utterly useless and inept. In fact they are borderline rude. My flight from Oaxaca to CDMX was cancelled and I had to book another night in the hotel, I went to the front desk to book another night and the person there looked at me like I had two heads. She then started to shuffle through papers looking for something, I'm not sure what. After waiting for 5 minutes without much as a glance in my direction I left. The bell hop followed me and reassured me that I should come back after 3pm and different people would be there. I decided to just book on kayak, go back up there and tell them I had a reservation, which worked well. But honestly I have never experienced front desk service that was so poor anywhere in the world. Upon my initial check in, the person handling it, checked me in and without ever making eye contact with me, waved a bell hop over and had them take me to my room, he never indicated to me that he was aware of my existence. I just find it weird that every other aspect of the hotel was absolutely wonderful, like seriously top notch, but the front desk staff is so horribly abysmal. They should be replaced.

This hotel is decently located to the nearby attractions. If you have have your own car this is great. We loved the extra large rooms and a really nice pool. There are nicer places around, but this hotel was just right. I would recommend booking this own online. As the walk in rates are kind of expensive...
