Hotel Casa Vertiz

The hotel restaurant is worth paying a visit. Their menu is exquisite and well priced. There are vegetarian options too and you get Oaxaca’s finest cuisine: different types of mole, chicken, tasajo (a very thin beef), creamy cilantro and nutty sauces and more. The atmosphere is quiet and you’re surrounded by green walls.

Clean, lovely rooms, beautifully lush atrium, great food and warm, friendly staff. I can't say enough about how enjoyable my stay was.

The food is ok but the service was really bad they take so long to attend us.

Great simple and central Oaxaca accommodation. The staff were lovely. Only criticism was that you couldn't get a hot shower at night. The morning showers were fine tho!
