Posada Don Mario

This small but quaint room was very clean and offered a small balcony to ourselves and a larger to share with others. Breakfast was included in the room rate and it was enjoyable. The location was ideal if you enjoy walking and seeing the sites of Oaxaca. The hotel also informs you of daily events and can organize tours.

If you’re looking for an inexpensive and convenient place to stay and are away most of the day, it’s good. If you’re expecting hairdryers and air conditioning, not for you. The rooms are cleaned daily, and have a combination heater/fan, and a full breakfast is included every day. Not a very quiet or private place, the windows on some rooms open on the common area. The location is excellent for access to museums, markets and parks. You get the full experience of Mexico here.

The staff are wonderful, helpful, kind and the breakfasts, oh yum. Room was kept clean. Close to everything touristy. Nearby to public transport, A great laundry around the corner and a marvelous market around the other corner. The Mexican theme with colour everywhere makes up for a little tiredness around the edges. I spent 17 days here and I would go back.

Very nice place..so friendly stuff...rooms are very clean...in no time in centro... only thing...breakfast was very good....but very small portions... for the rest...book it!!!
