Agrado Guest House

I recommend this hotel. I’m here for new year. Price is good. Service is fantastic. Room is big and clean. Best thing is pet friendly!

Very gracious staff, that are a well of tips and info on where to go for authentic food and shopping. Rooms are well appointed and well maintained. Great meals available for breakfast and dinner when you’re not up to searching for that next great restaurant. Breakfast is served at a big communal table making for good conversation. Agrado guest policy is totally “inclusive”. Only caveat: don’t book a room facing the street!

Not worth the price. Minimalism gone wrong. Regardless of the size of the room there is no dedicated space to unpack (unless you want to hang your stuff in the poorly ventilated bathroom). There’s only one plug in the room and they don’t even provide drinking water. We stayed three nights and we only had warm water once. Front desk service incredibly poor and xenophobic to our own kind! the receptionist (?) was super nice to us when speaking English but when I spoke to her directly in Spanish she turned into a pill. Incredibly rude, unfriendly and could not have cared less about solving our issues (No warm water). I am only giving it two stars thanks to the cook and the waiting staff who were super nice and attentive to us.

the room is smaller than i could have imagined. they seemed to have converted a storage closet into a room and then tried to say it is an appropriate place to stay. my recommendation is to stay somewhere less pretentious with better rooms. literally probably anywhere.

This place is a gem. Staff is amazing. I love the concept of a " guest house". Delicious breakfast and dinner served daily. The location is within minutes of museums, churches, markets and great restaurants and bars. Highly recommend. Thank you Ana Laura for sharing such a beautiful home.
