We haven't even completed our stay, but I didn't want to wait to leave Hotel Posada del Centro and it's wonderful staff my five-star review. This hotel is centered around a cheerful series of courtyards that are lovely, freshly painted, and heavy with plants and flowers. There are even some little birds who are nesting here! The upstairs balcony offers a comfy (and thankfully smoke free) lounge area with more flowers and views. The rooms are simple but very clean, with a chest of drawers and additional armoire for clothes. The mattresses are very comfortable and the bedding is comprised of fresh sheets, comfy pillows, a fleece blanket for warmth, and a colorful coverlet to finish it off. The showers have 24-hour steaming hot water, which my family and I have unfortunately had to put to the test. During our stay, our son got sick in the middle of the night and was still vomiting into the next morning. The staff here was so kind to us and forgiving of the mess that we couldn't help but make. They changed our sheets and towels, made sure I knew where the pharmacy was, checked in on me as other mothers will do for each other, and when our bellies were ready, they called the restaurant down the street to help us order some nourishing and wonderfully made chicken broth with rice and avocado. (Cafe Alex for feeding us so well!) Hotel Posada del Centro is a true home away from home and their staff are all wonderfully professional and kind hosts.

Very nice hotel. Great room. Hot water. Free morning coffee. Free purified water jugs near rooms. Nice location.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful and it was pleasant to wake up every morning to their beautiful courtyard.

I would not recommend to stay here at all. We paid for a private room without a bathroom. The room is not private - there’s a large gap in the wall between ours and another room you can hear everything from fans, Skype chats and late night fun. The staff are well aware of this. Essentially a shared type room for private prices and as a response to our complaint they suggested we pay more. In response to your inaccurate comment: 1) my girlfriend was awake and I told your staff member that, we didn’t want to move all our stuff at 11.30pm and already were dressed for bed 2) a family was checking in at the same time I talked to the front desk and they commented how loud the Skype chat was (from reception!) 3) We have been in Mexico over a month and are perfectly comfortable with a reasonable amount of street noise etc- just not hearing the room next to us kissing and when they roll over in the night via an opening in the wall 4)we choose not to pay double our original cost to change rooms when the first room should’ve been up to standard
