Holiday Inn Huatulco

I just got back from Huatulco this weekend and we stayed at the Holiday inn, I have to say this has been one of the best vacations i have taken. The hotel is centrally located to a lot of different things so anywhere we would drive would be like 10-15 minutes. The staff is friendly, the hotel was clean and the service was GREAT. Highly recommend you to stay here if you want to save some money from all the bigger hotels. You wont be disappointed! HUATULCO IS BEAUTIFUL

We booked the IGH Holiday Inn Huatulco at the last minute after a problem with our flight home to the US meant we were "stuck" in Huatulco for what ended up being an entire extra week. Even though there were "resort" options, we chose the Holiday Inn based on our really positive experience with IGH-branded hotels (our last stay at an IGH was a boutique hotel in Madison, WI). We were not let down by this choice -- the price was incredibly reasonable but the accommodations were awesome. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and turned our travel emergency into an extremely fun and pleasant extra week of vacation. I loved that there was no fuss in requesting that the cleaning staff not come into our room during our stay. This is the #1 issue that I am concerned about when staying in a hotel during COVID. We were able to grab quick necessities like extra toilet paper and towels directly from the front desk, which was fantastic. Aside from this, every staff member we interacted with was wearing a mask properly, over their chin, mouth, and nose. The staff serving food were also wearing face shields and gloves to handle trays of food. This 100% compliance was incredible and not something I usually see at most businesses here in the US. This made us feel extremely confident that we made the right decision on our stay.

I literally love staying here because of the fluffy pillows and awesome bed/bed sheets! The service is always excellent . They also have starbucks and thats a huge plus!

This is NOT your typical holiday inn back in the States! This hotel is 10 steps ahead any holiday inn you know! If you are wondering weather to go with the “ breakfast included “ option or not! GO WITH THE BREAKFAST INCLUDED OPTION! Henrys and Israel at the restaurant have treated every guest as a King! IF I WAS THE QUEEN OF THE HOLIDAY INNS IN THE WHOLE WORLD 🌎 I WOULD SEND EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE TO TRAIN TO THIS LOCATION, I would send my staff from here all over to be able to understand the culture of other countries where Holiday Inn services. I am attaching as many pictures as I can of the food we ate here, some of the items were request!! DO TRY THE BACON 🥓 WE like to send again a standing ovation to the pastry Chef that by my request made a pastel de chocolate Oaxaqueño con betûn de mezcal!!! The front desk people gave us amazing recommendations for other restaurants to go in town ( I had reviewed those also) and accommodated our requests with a smile on their face. We are not going to see the Holiday inns back home the same THEY HAVE BIG SHOES TO FILL. And we decided we are making this location our home base. In this trip we visited 6 different hotels and we came back here every time!

I had a really great experience here stayed for a full week, had no issues what's so ever, food and drinks were not that expensive, I would recommend the owner of this place to think about their staff, there is no air conditioning in the lobby or common areas, and it is a really hot place to be in it can get to 40 celsius
