Hotel Jiménez

Don't stay here unless you're deaf and immune to back pain. The water pump at the back of the building is terribly loud, and humms and drones all night long. In our first room it was just annoying, but they made us switch rooms after a few nights. Now it's so loud I can feel the walls vibrating. No sleep. Hard beds, hard lumpy pillows. Almost no hot water. Paid extra for parking. Breakfast is okay at best. For what it's worth, it's a good location and the staff are friendly.

Really nice staff. The location is perfect for exploring many different areas of the city. Tours provided by the travel agency are super cool. Unfortunately, rooms are small, beds are uncomfortable (also they seemed to have bedbugs) and the shower leaks water all over the bathroom.

Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Newly refurbished rooms. Somewhat dark since only front rooms have outside windows.
