Sheraton Ambassador Hotel

If you are wondering about this hotel, it is nice, clean and comfortable beds. Facilities are nice. So, why 2 stars? Simple... When you travel with a Pet (dog) it is very hard to get a hotel pet friendly. They are one of the few "pet friendly" hotels.... The problem is that when I was checking in, I brought my dog with me... Everything was going well until I received a the estimated charges for the room. They have a $65 dollars "cleaning fee" if you bring a dog with you. They will charge you even if you have a service dog... I you are a dog parent, this is NOT the hotel to go... If you are looking for a low price in a nice hotel, go for it. Am really glad that Priceline took care of the fee. (Ironic, I rented the room for $40 but bringing a dog was more expensive than my stay) I had to wait for about 2 hours until the issue was solved.

Very clean hotel and following all the covid19 protocols. Good service and friendly staff. Not many food options for room service but the food on menu is tasty. Hotel is close to many good restaurants, shopping places and grocery stores.

The first thing you notice is the buttons in the elevator, that are loose in their panel. So you worry what shape your room will be in, but it was actually fine. Large, good amount of furniture, comfy bed. Very poorly lit with just a desk lamp and a floor lamp by the day bed - too dark. Bathroom amenities were only one soap bar and one small shampoo. Breakfast has a limited selection (no buffet) with the lame covid excuse. The coffee they served on both mornings was warm brown water. The staff were very nice. I believe hotels here are restricted to a 30% occupancy rate for distancing, so you'd think that guests would be spaced out and you'd have a quiet stay - but annoyingly I had people in the rooms on both sides.

We were only there for one night. At first they put us in a room that was already occupied. The interior of the rooms was very old. It all seemed a little bit dirty. We had a weird red stain on the floor. Looked like someone tried to scrub blood away. Not the standard you would expect from a Sheraton...

The bedroom was wonderful and comfy but the hotel allows guests to play loud music late at night. It was about 11pm when the rooms next to me were partying so loudly. The breakfast was also undercooked, don't order pancakes. My friend got a terrible stomach ache from eating them as they were half gooey inside still.
