One of the best embassies in the world. Correspondents are very good. Issued a visa during the day. Thank you very much! I love Cyprus.

Tired of living in Russia or just want to go to rest in sunny Cyprus? Then you are here)

I ran out of Schengen and suddenly had a week of vacation. I decided to quickly get a visa to Cyprus (because it is done in 1 day and free of charge) and go to rest. Oh, how wrong I was in my calculations! I was assigned an interview and as a result, my passport, instead of one day, lay in the Embassy 4. Next, I'll write about the interview itself. First surprise: Embassy staff do not know or have heard about the European Agreement governing border crossing between North and South Cyprus. Consider themselves entitled to refuse a visa if you have visited Sev. Cyprus, or (God forbid!) Entered Cyprus through the Turkish Erkan. Although the aforementioned Agreement crossing the border between North. and Yuzh. Cyprus, if you can call it that, allows third-country nationals with a Schengen visa. Surprise 2: The comrade who conducted the interview with me (you will not believe it, but it was easier to get a visa in the USA!), Did not consider it necessary to listen to me, but only broadcast a memorized text about the illegal Turkish Republic of North. Cyprus, which cannot be visited and which I illegally visited as a robot. He has probably never been to Cyprus, because carried some nonsense about terrorists in the North. Territories. In general, the entire interview strongly resembled an interrogation, where I was considered guilty by default. As a result, they put a stamp on the refusal of a visa for a year for 'other' reasons. Which 'other' is not specified. If you have the opportunity to make Schengen, do it better, do not contact this weird Embassy.

Specialists are not competent. The mail is not answered, the letters are simply ignored. Then only through the third person we find out why they are silent and what is wrong. Well done. No words from such employees.

I want to express "gratitude" to the employees of the Cypriot Embassy in Moscow for spoiled leave, losses incurred in the form of 95,000 rubles, as well as for a nervous breakdown and time spent. I hope you bastards, this will come around in full! They wanted to go with their loved one to Paphos for 10 days. We bought a ticket, booked tickets and a hotel, there was only a little thing left - to go to the embassy and check if I have a biometric passport, because with biometrics entry for Ukrainians is unhindered (visas were canceled back in June 2017). To my surprise, I learned that you need to apply for a full Cypriot visa and collect a huge package of documents, because I do not have biometrics. However, I naively believed that obtaining a Cypriot visa would not be difficult, because it is not Schengen and not the United States, after all. On the network, people actively wrote about this, and our tour operator assured us that there was nothing to worry about. For two weeks I was cheated and chased like a squirrel in a wheel, you see, the certificates are not the same — ticket and hotel vouchers do not suit them, give them original tickets and booking confirmation with the seal and personal signature of the hotel’s main manager. Ok, not a question, the tour operator made a fuss, but we collected everything that they asked. An important point: my mch acted as the sponsor of our trip, as in any normal pair, since I, having in my hands a Ukrainian citizenship, do not have the opportunity to work officially and I have only all the revenues. Therefore, I attached a sponsorship letter, a statement from the work of the Ministry of Defense and its passport to the application. I called the embassy and personally asked the question: "Can not a relative and a husband act as a sponsor?" I quote their answer verbatim: "Yes, of course, if only it were not a complete stranger." And this is not surprising - hundreds of men take their girlfriends and lovers to rest and to more prestigious countries than Cyprus, where a visa can only be obtained with a fight. But to my surprise, on the day of submitting the application, they called me and said that I should appear for a personal interview with the consul, allegedly he had some questions for me. The interview at the Cypriot Embassy already sounds ridiculous, because in terms of prestige, Cyprus is only slightly higher than Turkey and Egypt. I was interviewed by a certain man aged 35-40 with gray hair, asked a bunch of questions that in no way related to the trip, and, in short, by his tone, I already realized that I could get a visa only through his corpse. He demanded to provide the previous abroad, although my current foreign border is the first and only, because before emigrating to the Russian Federation it simply was not needed. (Yes, imagine, and this happens, in poor Ukraine, not all people can afford to apply for foreign travel, not like visiting abroad). I don’t know why he didn’t like me so much, usually men are condescending to me, probably this comrade is not women;) Despite the fact that I provided all the documents confirming the solvency of my companion - tickets already bought, confirmation from the hotel about the paid reservation, medical insurance from the travel agency, sponsorship letter and income statement mch, I have all the same been denied on the basis that I couldn’t provide convincing evidence of the availability of sufficient funds. The reason is stupidly sucked from the finger! In addition, they stamped a wolf stamp on me abroad and vetoed them for 1 year before re-applying for a Cyprus visa. The guy, on the contrary, got a visa for a long time. Now he also has a problem, what should he do with this outstanding visa, because without me he will not go anywhere, but he often travels to Europe. I cannot explain this otherwise as personal antipathy, either personally to me or to the Ukrainians in general, although it is extremely difficult for me to understand how I could deserve such strict measures with a ban for a year, as if I had provided fake documents or committed an offense or was going to hitchhike illegally to Cyprus. The same to me, "peace officers." All that they can do is to get to the bottom of the girl and ruin the vacation of lovers, not allowing even the unfortunate 10 days to enjoy the beauty of the sea. Just a cynical, bestial attitude, I just do not have enough censorship words! Shame on you !!!
