Dom Chaya

One of the best places in Kazan for Local Tatar cuisine! It looks like canteen of Soviet times, but the food is very delicious! The personnel is nice and it’s warm and cozy inside! Prices are reasonable. Lunch for two is like 10$.

It’s lucky to have local Kazan girls to take me to the traditional restaurant #domchaya and have really delicious traditional food olesh and meaty. Olesh is full of chicken and potato, smells so good. As for Menty, it’s made of beef, also very tastes. a for the sweet sweet chak-ckack, it’s a little bit too sweet for a Taiwanese girl like me. 😋 But still, all delicious.

My Gosh! It's amazing. The food is so tasty, I'm afraid I became an addict to this place xD. No jokes. It's unbelievable. Elesh with hot meat brew and echpochmak - I ate them almost in one bite and took another elesh to go. Yup will not forget this place ever. I been here 14 years last time. And I'm very very glad I had a chance to refresh my good memory of this place. I'm happy as an elephant who are a lot of tasty food :)

Good local food at a very economic price run as those university canteen. It’s a slightly more comfortable than Dobraya Stolovaya (which offers and run the restaurant similar to Dom Chaya but cheaper and found in a block away).

Really yummy food. Tasted quite fresh. Coffee was nice. Cheesecake was nice. They have some nice Tartar options to try. Very tasty and the price was really good for what they offered. I would even say that the price was rather cheap! Definitely recommend!
