The quality of education at the university leaves much to be desired. Most exams are formal, especially in senior years, but I generally keep silent about the tests. The university does not like to expel students, holds debtors in every possible way and drags them to the last year, ~ 70% of students who are not successful at the university. Obviously, having expelled them, there will be no one to teach. A huge number of dead souls, the presence of corruption, also does not give a positive impression of this organization. Equipment, old in many cases already out of order, students have to "adjust" the values, or even completely, formally perform laboratory tasks. 90% of teachers do not have a twinkle in their eyes and a desire to give everything to students, it seems that they have come to terms with this way of life. I add that the prospect of students in engineering specialties is a plant with a penny salary of 20-25 tr Graduates of schools, try to enter the capital's educational institutions, do not get hung up on this option. RGATU is an alternate aerodrome that accepts almost everyone, even Tajiks who don’t really know Russian ...

A worthy educational institution with a rich history and a good material base. A good choice for those who want to not only "buy" a diploma, but how to learn something in the right specialty and become an adequate specialist. Fortunately, the production is nearby and the issue of employment is not worth it.
