Everyone was wonderful, especially Dr. Jill. Thank you so much! Our animals are truly like our children and take vacations with us, sleep with us, go on runs with us, watch movies with us! It was hard to find a veterinarian that values animals as our family members. We are so happy to find Lombard Animal Hospital. Our 6 year old Boston/Chihuahua mix is anxious and aggressive with strangers. They handled him with care and compassion! We highly recommend Lombard Animal Hospital.
Amazing pet service!!! I’m on limited funding right now. Dr. Victoria and her tech were so understanding and took the time to come up with a treatment plan that was best for Rue and with in my financial means at this time. Our cat Oscar was going bald. The diagnosis from another vet was food allergies. We put him on a special dry food diet and he was getting steroid treatment, but did not improve. On advice of a friend who also cares for cats, we took him to Lombard Animal Hospital. They suggested we change his food to wet, whitefish-based cat food. We took him off of the special dietetic food and stopped any further steroid treatment. We started feeding him the newly recommend food. Magic! We are new to Portland and took our terrier mix here to get her allergy medication refilled. Her skin allergies since moving here have been out of control. The vet was more concerned with getting her records from our former vet from out of state than listening to her medical history. Basically, 400 dollars later, our dog was on steroids for ten days and she was put on flea control (she didn’t have fleas). She was not given anything to control the allergies long term, not even the prescription allergy medication we had her on previously. One month later, she is worse than ever. I don’t feel as if this vet listened to our concerns or worked with us in addressing our dogs health needs in any way. I don’t want to go back to them and I am now starting the search for a compassionate, quality vet to partner with me in helping Eleanor.
This is THE vet to go to if you want what is best for your animals and your own peace of mind. Great staff, they take all of your concerns seriously and don't rush through appointments or discussing any of your questions. Great with rabbits too which is a big plus!
