Dr. Castle and the team here are the best I've encountered in decades of animal care. The team was kind and encouraging to my nervous pet on every visit. While he was afraid of people he always left Dr. Castle and the vet techs here feeling more secure. My kitty's chronic condition required frequent labs and Portland Animal Clinic can run several in house which was an absolute dream because it saved me money. I relied on this team very seriously. They took my worried calls and Dr Castle was available and receptive. The team here is awesome. Always patient and willing to quote prices before hand so I never needed to be afraid of a final bill. Willing to work with you to make decisions with the budget you have. Kind people like this are special and I cherish this place.
We've been taking our dog Prince to Portland Animal Clinic for 3 years now and they've taken the time to get to know him and his quirky health issues. The team has always provided prompt and high quality care (such as when they found a slot on a weekend to help Prince with a sudden ear infection). They have good Covid protocols in place now and give me peace of mind with respect to my dog's health. Really appreciate the team and would highly recommend.
Great clinic with very kind and supportive staff. Dr. Castle and staff are very responsive and do a great job with the animals. Highly recommend!
Great service. I always feel like the staff genuinely care about my sweet baby boy. I've been to vets where they upsell you an obscene amount, but here they recommend only what is needed and are very upfront and honest. They also do a great job grooming. I'll be a customer hopefully for years to come (my sweet boy just turned 16!)
The people who work here are very nice and always tell me what a delight my pup is (even though I know Daisy isn't a huge fan of going to the vet).nnI've had a couple emergency issues with my pup, but everyone I've talked to during those times was calm and understanding with me.nnI couldn't ask for a better veterinary clinic.
