Find A Different Location!!!nnI no longer feel comfortable bringing my dog to this Banfield, and I suggest to anyone trying to find a vets office to go to another location.nnI have been with Banfield, this location specifically, for over two years. I recently lost my first dog with them, and decided to keep them as my vet once I got my new dog. The receptionist, Kelsey, to call a bad employee is an insult to bad employees. I have never in my life seen someone in the vet field who legitimately shows outwardly that she does not care about your pet.nnI am a member and pay monthly for their services, and my dog had her spay surgery. 3 days after the procedure I called Banfield because of complications (very serious) that occurred. Kelsey refused to allow me to come, she claimed that she couldn’t get me in until Tuesday, which was a few days later. I asked her if she thought my dog would make it she replied, “I don’t know I'm not a doctor.” In the most condescending tone I've heard in my adult life. I got ahold of the doctors on their app (thank god) and they told me to call BACK Banfield, and tell them that my dog has severe symptoms and must be seen right away.nnThis is where it gets messed up, reluctantly she said, “Okay let me ask the doctor.” Why she didn’t just ask the doctor in the first place? Probably didn’t want to walk the 15 steps. Of COURSE she came back on the phone and the doctor told her to tell me to come down immediately.nnWe went, doctor agreed we should come, gave her an IV and any nausea shot, and told me and Kelsey, AND another technician that I needed to keep my Tuesday appointment which Kelsey claimed she set up.nWe show up on Tuesday, our name was not on the board, she literally ignored not only my dogs ailment but the doctors literal orders. Playing dumb she pretended like we didn’t just see each other, once the other technicians heard how rude she was speaking to me she called me over. I told her we had an appointment, but she basically had nothing for me. She took down my number, and information about the dog, promised me that they would call me within 72 hours.nnIt has been a week now.nnAll the actual doctors are incredible. Its the staff that scares the hell out of my wife and I. A surreal experience, and I am sad to realize that people like this work in this field. I am contacting Banfield themselves through their complaint department, and I will never recommend that location to anyone again. I even just got my friend to bring his cat to this location, not anymore.nnFire that horrible employee Kelsey, and get the staff together in a meeting. Understand that this is about the dog, not your personal depression. Do not work in this field if you do not love animals.
The staff is always welcoming, and friendly upon arrival. They take great care of my little Oliver. ud83dudc15 I recently had him neutered, and the experience couldn't have been smoother. I was informed of EVERYTHING, from how to prepare Oli the night before for surgery, to the in between fine details that we often wonder about. Of there was also after care visit information also.
Every time I take my dog to this location, everyone I meet is friendly, encouraging and kind. They are sweet with my dog, and quite caring. I moved a bit away from them (30 minutes), but decided to go back, because they were consistent with us (sweet dog and self). They are also responsive to calls and good with appointments, like being ready when I arrive, not 30-60 minutes later.
Kind and helpful staff. I don’t love the long time you have to leave your pet there. I wish it was a drop off and pick up right after the appointment instead of a several hour time window.
Would have given less but front desk was great help. Dr at never called me back to discuss problems and questions with my sick rescue cat. So not ok.
