I am a cat lady and I make no apologies for it. I have 2 babies and I love them so much. I don’t trust just anyone to their care. I’m also a nervous cat guardian, when one is sick I’m a mess. Got a senior cat. He’s been in to see these fine folks 4x in 8 days. 2 with the doc, 2 for fluids. They have been caring and patient and informative. Dr. McMunn is my vet and yesterday when I thought I had to put my boy down, she came out to the car and explained why she thought it was not time yet. Her compassion meant the world. She didn’t tell me what to do but she spoke on what she would do if he was her animal. She gave me amazing advice on how to care for his condition and what to watch for. He is feeling better already! I can’t thank them enough and I’m grateful for every day I have with my boy. ud83dude3b

This place is great, they accommodate for rabbits, who are not taken by most other veterinary businesses. And they have a nice price range, not too expensive which is very nice because I'm a student. They take the best care of my rabbit and I'm very happy to go here!

Staff were friendly but unhelpful, and even the doctor gave us limited information. I do not believe they are good with exotic pets, as the doctor failed to diagnose our bunny Snow with a bacterial infection and swelling in arm. The signs were there, and if they had caught it he might have made it, but by the time I got him to Purdue University Small Animal Hospital (where he was properly diagnosed), he was already struggling and passed away a few days later. Other veterinarians nearby recommended the Purdue University Small Animal Hospital for exotic pets, so that is the place to go. If you have a dog or cat, this place is just fine.

Great place to go to drop your pet off with a Doctor who will go above and beyond in terms of finding the best treatment for your pet or pets. If a medication needs special approvals they will get it done, If it is a pet like in the avian family for ex, they will do their best, If they are not sure, they will take the time to do their research and get back to you in a timely manner. Very happy with their services and would highly recommend them to friends and family!

Do not take your rabbits here. The vets say they are exotic vets but they are not experienced with rabbits. Although it’s cheaper, you will be wasting your money because they don’t know what they’re doing. Take your rabbits to Purdue Small Animal Hospital (they even have an emergency room), where they are actually professional and caring. Dr. Becker treats each animal like a business transaction and wouldn’t even talk to me about my pet when he was severely ill. I have changed my review three times because this vet got worse. I’m very upset, because my rabbit could die due to their lack of commitment to their patients and lack of proper examination. The reception and doctors do not communicate, making them unable to answer all of my questions when my rabbit was there. They also made the decision to send my dehydrated rabbit home, which makes no sense because I don’t have the ability to put him on fluids.nnThey’re pretty busy during the summer and a little hard to locate, but they do have two rabbit vets available. I’ve seen both of them and they didn’t give my rabbits any pain medication after they got neutered, which is upsetting because all other rabbit vets have. Also, one of the vets only writes handwritten notes—I would much rather speak with someone. I care very much about my rabbits and had a great relationship with my previous vet, so I’d like to know what’s going on with my pets and I’d like to explain the situations to the vets better. I’m grateful they saw me same day for an emergency—however, they are extremely inexperienced with rabbits even tho one is an exotic vet. They did not take the temperature of my rabbit and when I asked why one of the vets (Dr. M) said it was too difficult, and they clearly did not listen to me for any of his symptoms because all Becker did was trim his teeth, when it turns out he’s actually suffering from cellulitis. I am extremely upset that after taking my rabbit to this vet twice, both times they did not listen to me and they could not answer my questions and didn’t run any tests and had absolutely no idea what was wrong but pretended they did and sent him home. This vet may be cheap, but if it’s an emergency for an exotic pet, do not take them here. Take them to the Purdue Small Animal Hospital Emergency Room. It’s more expensive, but your pet will have a far better chance.
