I just happened to walk by this shop while shopping on hawthorne. They had a large display of house plants decorating store that you can purchase. The staff is kind and patient, willing to answer your questions. The quality of the house plants blew me away. They all appeared to be thriving! I couldn't help but leave with this beautiful philodendron (macrame hanger made by me)
I worked with Jill at Starflower to create my dream elopement bouquet and DAMN did she do an AMAZING job. She took my vision and brought it to life. Completely unique. Was in the area to pick up food and stopped in to see about getting some flowers for my girlfriend's birthday. I'm not the best at advance planning so I was prepared to walk away with a single rose or something, but the florist wasn't busy and very kindly arranged a stunning bouquet while I waited. My girlfriend absolutely loved it! Thanks for helping me make it a special day!
I can never pass by without stopping in. This is such a calming place to visit. It always smells amazing and the people behind the counter are kind.
Very disappointed, the customer service was amazing and as a new plant mom I believed what I was being told. I explained my situation saying I didn’t want a hard to work with plant and I wanted one that could be on a shelf. She told me to buy a pothos and said it would work for my situation. I asked her what pot to buy and she said the plant could stay in it’s original one for about a year, just set it into another pot. So I did. Well... it’s been a week and this plant is DEAD!! I did exactly what she told me to do. Another add on, like I said before she said it could stay in the original pot for about another year and man oh man was she wrong it has the worst case of root bound also knows as pot bound. Very disappointed I was very excited to start my plant journey but now I’m not sure... luckily my brother knew what he was talking about and maybe I can save it but man you guys need to check up on your facts cause this sucks!
