I feel like my pet is taken care of when we go, but they can be hard to get into (I was told two weeks for a pet that wouldn't stop vomiting, so we had to go elsewhere). Also they're more expensive than local vets.nWe'll be switching when our plan is up.

The staff is great, our pet always loves going to see the vet.

One of my dogs had an appointment for their initial comprehensive exam and it took about an hour and the vet called me to let me know details and recommendations and it went great and everything was just fine. I walked around the store for an hour and just looked around and waited. For my other dog, they had an appointment drop off time of 10am and she wasn’t even done and ready to be picked up until 4pm. It seems ridiculous that a physical exam needs to take that much of my dog’s day. My dog is terrified of the vet already and then having to spend almost 8 hours there (likely being kenneled for the majority of it) just makes it even worse of an experience for her. The vet didn’t even call me until around 2:30 so I started to worry a bit and called myself and was told she was on a lunch break... Why do the dogs have to stay there all day long for a simple physical? Seems ridiculous and I wish they’d honor their appointment times more consistently. They also signed one of my dogs up for the more expensive wellness plan without my knowledge or approval and now they say I can’t cancel it and downgrade to the cheaper one or it’ll cost me $450. I tried calling Banfield themselves too and they won’t do anything about it either.

Worse vet in the world they all say different information. I've been bringing one of my dogs here since he was 5 weeks old and now he's three and all of a sudden they don't cover flea meds what the hell is the wellness plan, for then? Shots that they don't need anynmore because they're too old. And they won't let me cancel.
